As you move through the portfolio, the rhythm of colour and form is carefully orchestrated and each plate is as intriguing and beautiful as the next.

The images included in Carousel span over ten years of his career and the portfolio is full of the high glamour and vibrant colour that Aldridge is best known for. At first glance, these pictures are arresting, beautiful, and compelling; but behind this façade of visual delight is a sense of lurking discord, also typical of his work.
